Security concerns when shipping to Israel

There is a lot of unrest in Israel at the moment, making it a volitile country for both travel and shipping.  These times of civil war make it increasingly hard to have confidence that your package will be received properly on the other end.  There could be workers that would normally handle your package unavailable due to the civil fighting, or even some infrastructure like postal offices or sorting facilities that are damaged or destroyed that can impact your shipment getting to its destination.

As far as shipping times goes, you can still pay for faster transit times with whichever shipping provider you choose and they will be able to break out the time frames for you.  But keep in mind that because of the security concerns mentioned above, this transit time will be when it gets to the country as opposed to when it gets to your intended recipient.  You should keep this in mind when trying to send something that requires a certain time frame for delivery, for instance.
